Dear Curlers,
The CC Bern Inter is pleased to invite your team to participate in the 14th Grand Prix Bern Inter 2010 from November 5 to 7, 2010 at the curling rink Allmend in Berne / Switzerland. The tournament will start on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 07:30 h and will end on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at about 17:15 h.
We will play with 32 teams, triple-knock-out system (all games 8 ends), Consolation Cup for the early eliminated teams and a skin game between the two teams that qualify first for the 1/4-finals. There will be semi-finals and finals for ranks 1 - 4 of the Grand Prix Bern Inter; all losers of the 1/4-finals will be eliminated and be ranked 5th in the final ranking. Likewise, only the final game for ranks 1 and 2 will be played in the Consolation Cup; the losers of the semi-finals will be ranked 3rd in the final ranking.
The total prize money will be CHF 18'100, divided up as follows:

Our tournament is open for Swiss and international teams and teams specially invited by the OC (ca. 8 women teams, ca. 24 men's teams). Important: Teams are accepted in the order of receiving their registration or by decision of the OC GP Bern Inter respectively.
As usual, our dinner for all teams will take place on Friday with salads, pasta and a dessert buffet.
The entry fee is CHF 500.00 (or the equivalent in Euro at the exchange rate of November 5, 2010), including 4 tickets for the dinner on Friday. The entry fee has to be paid before playing the first game to our cashier (1st floor CBA Bern "Spielleiterbüro"). Additional dinner tickets can be bought from our cashier.
We are certain that the 2010 edition of the Grand Prix Bern Inter will again be a tournament full of attractive and exciting games.
